We are in the process of updating our provider search tool. As a start, our members looking to access their behavioral health benefits will be directed to the new tool. Those looking to utilize their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits will continue to use the existing tool for a while longer.

Which benefit to utilize depends on your needs. If you're looking for guidance and support for everyday life challenges from stress and anxiety to relationships and parenting via a set number of free visits, then your EAP benefits would be appropriate. If you're looking for help with more serious behavioral issues and complex conditions via longer-term counseling, then utilizing your behavioral health benefits would be more appropriate.
 

When would I need an EAP provider?

An EAP provider can help you with short-term assistance with things such as:

  • Managing stress.
  • Improving relationships at home or work.
  • Getting past emotional issues or grief.
  • Addressing depression, anxiety or substance use issues.

 

When would I need a behavioral health provider?

  • Seeking medication services.
  • Seeing a Psychiatrist or Ph.D. for evaluation services.
  • Looking for inpatient or outpatient assistance with mental health, substance use or eating disorder issues.
